Cinema:
Nowt. Rarely get the chance anymore :frowning:
DVD:
"A Knight's Tale". How did I miss this one? Thought it was an exciting, funny adventure tale "like they don't make 'em anymore" with a terrific cast. Ordered it from my etailer of choice first thing this morning.
Oh, and I caught most of TPM while doing the ironing and Toy Story 2 is on almost continuously for my daughter. Luckily it's such a good film it doesn't grate after the 1 zillionth viewing. And it's a good job these DVDs don't wear out...
TV:
"The Bone Collector". A far more enjoyable pot-boiler than I was expecting. Corny, yeah, but an amusing way to while away a couple of hours before bedtime.

It was a DVD weekend at my house! We watched the following:
- Toy Story
- Blazing Saddles
- Tron
- Planes, Trains and Automobiles
- Tombstone
- The Abyss
- First Blood
- Gross Pointe Blank
Also, thanks to Disney for the excellent Tron and Tombstone releases!
I keep track of the last date each DVD is watched with my DVD database. I can sort them by "Date Watched" so that I can quickly see what titles I have not watched in a long time (or not wacthed ever--I have 81 DVDs with a "Last Watched" date of 00/00/0000) :).

Well, I was pretty lame this weekend. I watched one DVD: Bram Stroker's Dracula: Superbit. That was simply amazing.
I watched one of my favorites on Comedy Central: The Out of Towners.
And I watched all of the NFL Playoff games! All I have to say is that Oakland got SCREWED!! :frowning:

Went to Providence to see Beauty & The Beast in IMAX, and then got back home in time to see The Night Of The Hunter at the Brattle.

Both great movies, although very different.

Take care,

Pinocchio

Nosferatu

Moulin Rouge (Excellent movie!)

City Lights

Jurassic Park III

Greed (4-hour reconstructed version)

I actually watched Moulin Rouge thrice...I watched it once on Friday just to see what it was like (DVD, of course!). I first thought it was just a weird movie.

Very deserving of the Best Musical/Comedy Golden Globe, IMO.
