I'm assuming you mean the 1982 "Cat People" or do you mean the 1942 "Cat People"?
and
Did you mean the 1993 "The Thing Called Love" or did you mean the 1941 "This Thing Called Love"?

"several MGM owned titles inexplicably languishing OoP or yet to be released
Wuthering Heights
That Hamilton Woman
These Three
Love At First Bite"

With the news that Hamilton is working on a sequel you can bet "Love At First Bite" will show up when the new one comes out:

Some of you, particularly Jim_K, need to pick up an all-region player and cross a bunch off of your "want lists".

Mine would include, by decade (and again, off the top of my head)

1920s: More Chaney, particularly a restored HUNCHBACK (long rumored), THE UNHOLY THREE and TELL IT TO THE MARINES.
1930s: More Hal Roach films; the European Laurel & Hardy discs are as good as anything in my collection, but how about the talkies with Charley Chase, Thelma Todd, et al? I second more THIN MAN, too. I have the Australian BLACK CAT/THE RAVEN disc, but an upgrade would be nice. And the best of W.C. Fields, including MAN ON THE FLYING TRAPEZE. And for the love of god, give us some real POPEYE collections!
1940s: A golden age of movie serials! MYSTERIOUS DR. SATAN! BATMAN! SECRET SERVICE IN DARKEST AFRICA (the one that inspired Indiana Jones)! THE SHADOW! SPY SMASHER! C'mon, Artison, you punks. And MAN MADE MONSTER, too, and THE MAD GHOUL.
1950s: I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF! INVASION OF THE SAUCER MEN! THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN TV show (supposed to be coming this summer)! INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN! Martin & Lewis in THAT'S MY BOY and THE CADDY. NOT OF THIS EARTH and a decent ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS and FROM HELL IT CAME and the Bowery Boys!

That'll keep me busy for awhile.

I have a list of about 800 films that are not on DVD and are not "coming soon". But here are some of my most-wanted Big Studio catalogue titles:

If...
Cruising
The Devils
Point Blank
Johnny Guitar
Mirage (1965)
O, Lucky Man!
The Conformist
Zabriskie Point
Ace in the Hole
Brewster McCloud
Johnny Got His Gun
Resurrection (1980)
The Passenger (1975)
The Innocents (1961)
Make Way for Tomorrow
The Woman in the Window
Sometimes a Great Notion
Kiss of the Spider Woman
The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
The Emperor of the North Pole

Warner's "Controvertial Classics" announcement knocked seven films off the list and their Peckinpah box, James Dean box and many other recent announcements from the Studios (Major Dundee restoration; delayed It's a Matter of Life and Death, etc) keep me satisfied, but there are still hundreds of great mainstream classics that have been begging for a DVD release for years now. Ace in the Hole and The Innocents being the longest tortures for me!

All good things come to thems that wait, of course....
