Would just like to see some cool titles pop up in this thread. So here goes with my list in order "1" being the best.
10. Halo (It's New so its still a blast to me)
9. Civilization II (PC)
8. Sim City (PC)
7. Mario Cart (N64)
6. Resident Evil (Playstation)
5. Age of Empires II (PC)
4. Super Mario Bros (NES)
3. Star Conroll (Genesis)
2. Goldeneye (N64)
1. Counterstrike (PC)
I'm sure I've left some out. And this is no means a definative list. But these are the titles I've had the most fun, and spent the most time with, that I could think of off the top of my head.
what are yours?:emoji_thumbsup:

Thats probably not what my real answers would be, but they are pretty close. Also, in no real order, and all IMO.

Pardon me for a sec, but does anyone have a list of the top ten games for all individual systems? I am getting into retro gaming and collecting but am have a hard remembering the big sellers from 10+ years ago and a list like that would be very helpful.

----

My list:

Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo (3DO)

Contra (NES)

Blazing Lazers (TG16)

Jumpman (C64)

Sonic The Hedgehog (Genesis)

Gran Turismo 3 A Spec (PS2)

Tetris (MultiPlatform - prefer NES original)

Legend of Zelda (NES)

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)

Ultima 7 Part 2: The Serpent Isle (PC)

Honorable Mention:

Mike Tyson's Punchout (NES)

Ultima 7: The Black Gate (PC)

Hmmm, I can't believe I forgot about Total Annihilation....IMHO the BEST real time strategy game in the history of gaming. Even today, no RTS beats it.

I'd put that in a solid #3 on my list, bumping the rest down.

Although by no means complete, here are some of my favs:

1. Civilization II

2. Doom

3. Warcraft II

4. Ultima IV

5. Wizardry I

6. Diablo II

7. Baldur's Gate II

8. Comanche Maximum Overkill

9. Master of Orion

10. Heroes of Might and Magic II

I have had 8-9 different consoles over the years (Atari 2600, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Genisis, PSI, PSII, Lynx) but they never clicked with me the way PC games did. The closest console titles would be "Nobunaga's Ambition" and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", for me.

Hmm, this is a great topic, let me rank up here for terms of games I remember having a super-blast with...
PC: (no real order)
1. Gabriel Knight Series (more than one game, but I've never played any adventure game more than these, I think I'm up to about twenty playthroughs of GK1)
2. Secret of Monkey Island
3. Star Control II
4. King's Quest II
5. System Shock
6. System Shock 2
7. Thief: The Dark Project
8. Red Alert 2 (and expansion)
9. Quest For Glory 2
10. Planescape: Torment (THE best RPG I have ever played)
Heh, did I mention I like adventure games? :D
Consoles:
1. Final Fantasy IV
2. Bomberman (SNES)
3. Bubble Bobble (Akklaim's port to the PSOne was one of the shining moments in my purchase of the system :D
4. Resident Evil (whole series ;) )
5. M.U.L.E. (The very rare NES version...)
6. Secret of Mana
7. Phantasy Star IV
8. Prince of Persia (SNES)
9. TMNT IV: Turtles In Time
10. Metal Gear Solid
11. Frequency, 4-player mode. Tried Saturday night. Two hours later... :D

No particular order...

Tempest 2000 (Jaguar)

Joust (arcade)

Robotron/Smash TV (arcade)

Civilization 2 (PC)

Street Fighter 2 (arcade, SNES)

Trog (arcade)

Star Wars (arcade, the original vector graphics one)

Star Raiders (Atari 5200)

Doom (PC)

NBA Jam (arcade)

I feel like I'm dissing a lot of newer games but the majority of these games are ones that I can remember my friends and I playing endlessly and never tiring of. I could probably just keep going and list a lot more too.
