Eric, I can't believe that you just picked Winchester '73! I literally just added it to my possibilities list figuring I could use in in the latter rounds as people would forget about it. I guess I was wrong. :)

Another one of my all time favorite Westerns is:

The Big Country.

IMHO, this film features the definitive Western score by Jerome Moross. ( I sure wish the MGM DVD release was better. :frowning: )

Walter, The Big Country does indeed feature one of if not the finest scores ever penned. :emoji_thumbsup: And, sadly, you're right about the DVD. :frowning:

Justin I was going back and forth with Winchester and another movie. I figured it had a better chance of getting taken first, so I took a gamble...I hope it pays off. :)
