Just Dexter S5 for me. Will probably get Cul De Sac and The Killing in the next B&N sale. Thanks for the prices!

I had to check to make sure "Armed and Dangerous" was really the movie with John Candy- can't believe that's coming out on Blu-Ray. Watched it on Netflix recently and thought it was a dud, but glad it's coming for those who like it. Just hope they put out some old stuff that *I* like too!

My Birthday's this week, so after Church I'm buzzing by Targhee to "Relieve" them of a S4 Friday Night Lights as an early presant from me to myself! :D

I, too, will hold off for the next B&N sale to nab those two Criterions. Greatly looking forward to both of them.

Colossus of New York? Hmm....

Question: When we click through one of the HTF links to Amazon, if we already had other things in our cart and proceed to checkout, or we had things in our want list and move them to the cart, does HTF get their commission on all of it? In other words, once you click through, does everything in that Amazon session benefit HTF regardless of when or how it was selected for purchase?

Best Buy has an EXCLUSIVE BLU-RAY RELEASE this week of Executive Decision (1996 with Kurt Russell and Halle Berry) for $14.99.
For anyone who is interested in this be advised that apparently this is a version of the film that has been edited to remove some of the references to Islam. I think there's a thread on this in the Blu-Ray section.

Here is the thread about Executive Decision Blu-ray that Will was referring too. I am torn about it. I know there will not be another release, so do I pick up a movie I enjoy or try to make a point with the studio that these types of PC edits for home video (regardless if they really impact the story) aren't acceptable?

I believe so, but I'm not 100% sure. For example if you had a pair of fuzzy dice in your cart from a link on lowrider.com from an earlier visit and added a movie by clicking on a link above I'm not sure if they would keep that referral for the dice or not. I do know that if you click on a link here on the site and purchase anything on the site during that visit it helps us, even if you don't buy the item you originally linked to. I will try to get an exact answer next week. Thanks for your support Charles!

For those interested in Jane Eyre, if you act fast, you might still be able to get in on B&N's combo deal: $17.49 for the BD (due to their one-day sale special that applies to some selection of titles) plus preorder promo offer for $5 GC code via email.

http://video.barnesandnoble.com/special_offer.asp?PID=34785

The preorder promo offer is good til 2:59am ET though the one-day sale price may or may not last that long:

Anyway, I just placed my own preorder for the Jane Eyre BD w/ that deal plus Dexter Season 5 BD (for their one-day sale price of $32.99, which seems to be the best price around).

They also have a handful of other titles of interest at pretty good prices, including The Big Lebowski BD for $14.99 and Name of the Rose for $9.99, although you can't use coupons on any of the ones listed as part of their one-day sale (eg. no coupons on Jane Eyre, Dexter S5, Big Lebowski at those prices).

Cheers!

I thought The Big Lebowski would be a no brainer, but the early reviews have my wary.
I was thinking the same thing. I heard it is exactly like the HD-DVD which I already have so I'll probably pass.
