The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Thanks Mike & Patrick for the Roundup. Just Platoon CE at CC with a BB pricematch (IF they even get any copies in stock).

Nothing from the new release list, but I think I'm going to take advantage of the BB price on Lois & Clark season 2! I'm trying to avoid buying too many "sale price" DVDs right now in anticipation of DDD's "that which we shall not speak of" likely to be coming up next month, but the BB price would still beat that price by far. Thanks, guys!

Perhaps, but AFAIK the "ALF" sets are continuing to use the edited-for-syndication masters and should be avoided as if they were MAR.

Well thanks for the round up, but vacation time has arrived and that means nothing for me to buy this week, even so I want the Venture Brother set. Thanks Mike and the invisible man.

Thanks as always Mike & Patrick.

Nothing definite for me this week, but I'm considering a blind buy on the Riddick Trilogy at the $12.99 price. Does anyone know the specs on this set - specifically the number of discs? I've checked several sites and most of them list this set as 2 discs, but Amazon's specs list it with 1 disc. I was expecting 3 discs - just a repackaging of all 3 DVD's into one set, but it doesn't sound like that's the case. Is the animated bridge-the-gap movie (The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury) included on a disc with one of the other movies?

Thanks in advance for any information on the Riddick Trilogy.

Looks like I'll finally be finishing off my Friends collection with this sale, as well as picking up Date Movie and possibly some of the Memorial Day titles.

Wish I could be of more help, Jeff. I've seen all three--one, two & three discs. I'd say I've probably seen "3-disc set" more prevalent than the rest...but I've seen all three this week as I was putting togther the RoundUp.

Baby Jane only, considering my local B/M didn't get the memo and put He-Man 2.1 out early. Picked that and Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte up yesterday.

Gotta save up for June.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the Round-Up...I'll be heading over to Costco to pick up Bette Davis V2. With their pricing on WHV sets, it's like buying 2 or 3 individual titles and getting the rest free.

Does anyone else feel like me...this is the calm before the storm? Starting next week, the next 4 to 5 weeks are going to bring an onslaught of long awaited titles from Warners and Fox: John Wayne, Clark Gable, Noir 3, Tough Guys, Charlie Chan, Will Rogers, Superman Season 3/4 and so forth.

Wow. Zippo for me this week. Nice catalog sale at CC though.

Perhaps I will catch up on the HD DVDs I haven't picked up yet (Fugitive, Blazing Saddles and Last Samurai). C'mon Toshiba, get that $25 coupon to me this week! :D

Whew! After a very busy May (for me), only one new release for me this week: Baby Jane. A nice little respite before the two big John Ford boxes next week.

Although I may pick up on some of the sale titles: GN&GL especially.

Fry's stores in Houston have the following for $11.99:

The Chronicles of Narnia (1-disc)
Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire (1-disc)
King Kong (2005) (1-disc)
Chicken Little
Fun With Dick & Jane (2006)

And on Tuesday, the Riddick Trilogy for $12.77

As always, since Fry's does regional pricing, YMMV.

The First two Weeks for me is insane with a multitude of TV Product and the John Ford/John Wayne set so I'm laying low this week...
