[COLOR= rgb(0, 0, 0)]Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp[/COLOR]. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the [COLOR= rgb(255, 0, 0)]RoundUp[/COLOR] that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the [COLOR= rgb(255, 0, 0)]RoundUp[/COLOR]. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

As always, thank you Mike & Patrick.

Dear John and The Road on BD for me (clarification: Dear John is for my 3 teen daughters) this week.

Frys.com currently has Dear John BD at a preorder price of $17.99 (+ $1.99 shipping + tax if applicable).

As of right now store pickup is not available. That will likely change on Tuesday, but not sure if this price will hold.

Code:
Dear John [Blu-ray] Sony Pictures: FRYS.com #: 6242160 Genre: Drama MPAA Rating: PG13 Limit 1 per Household. (when purchased between 05/21/2010 and 05/27/2010) Shipping: Available for Preorder Not available for export. Store Pickup: Not Available $17.99 + $1.99 shipping Orders shipped to AZ, CA, GA, IN, IL, TN, TX , NV, and WA are subject to state and local sales tax, as applicable.

I was really hoping that we would see a price drop on the Valentine's Day BD this week. I passed on it because of the high prices, and I'm getting some pressure at home to get this title. I can't tide the natives over with a rental for the time being because Netflix and Redbox are not carrying it for another month.

A couple of WRU comments / observations:

  • I believe that "Spartans" in the Blu-ray Title table should be "Spartacus"
  • The Amazon.com table price links are missing.

Just as a heads up: I've been finding a lot of really good deals on older TV season sets recently at WalMart. Mary Tyler Moore S1 and S2-$13 each. All five seasons of The Incredible Hulk, How I Met Your Mother S1, Who's the Boss and a ton more I can't remember at the same price point. They also have the new repackages of Stargate SG-1 for either $14.96 or $19.96, the first two volumes of Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection ($13 and $9). There's a big display with a bunch of $13 sets.

Costco has the complete series of Soap and Newsradio for $19.99; the Stargate's at $16.99 there, too.

1.) Oops. that'll be an easy fix.

2.) Oops again. I forgot! I won't be able to get to it tonight...but will have the links up tomorrow. Sorry everyone for the delay.

Amazon prices are my job, Mike is nice enough to usually do them for me. The local high school drama dept was having their last perfomance of The Music Man tonight so I didn't have a chance to take a look and get the links in until now. Thanks for missing them and using them to support HTF!

Nothing for me this week! After returning from Brazil on a Mission Trip this past Wednesday, I'm as poor as a Church Mouse!

Just wondering why the price difference between the SD Stagecoach ($30/$34) and the Blu-ray Stagecoach ($29)? Usually it's the other way around, not that I'm complaining. It's great to see a Criterion version of this Ford Classic.

As always, thanks for the weekly update.

I happened to search BestBuy.com before looking in this thread and noticed they have a "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" blu-ray "w/book"... based on the list here, it's not an advertised bonus this week. Anyone have an idea what it is?

The only drawback is that the links don't appear until the Sunday before release. I put in my pre-order for "True Blood S2" a couple weeks ago (same with Alice in Wonderland, which won't appear until next week's WRU).

I guess I could wait and do my order at the last minute using the links, but I'm afraid some week I'll forget and miss a deal.

Probably a mini-sized version of the one-issue comic book that came out several months ago? Just a guess.

Given the lack of in-depth extras on True Blood Season 2, I guess I'll get the Target version with the bonus disc.

I wonder if the bonus disc is a DVD or a BluRay in the BluRay version? Probably a DVD, don't you think? I'm expecting it is probably a ComicCon panel, not something carefully produced.

But then I'll have to swing over to Best Buy because I've wanted one of those True Blood drink bottles, but would never pay the $20 it takes to get them from the HBO online store. $4 is good though! And no, I won't actually drink it -- it's a soda of some sort. Yeck!

By the way, Borders has a bunch of crap you'll likely regret spending money on, including 3 rolled True Blood posters ($8 each), one of which is the season 2 cover art (Bill biting Sookie), and the other 2 are variations of the same (black background, black and white faces, including one with Eric). Also a cheesy Fangtasia keychain (which at least is SUPPOSED to be cheesy, so, it works conceptually!), and a True Blood (drink) T-shirt, which looks like it meant to be reminiscent of a Jack Daniels T-shirt.

Need Adam or Mike to confirm, but I believe that HTF is supported via Amazon when you complete a purchase in the new browser window that opens when you click on any of the links, even if you purchase another item. For instance, if I wanted to place a pre-order today for "The Book of Eli" on Blu-ray (release date of 06-15-2010), I could click on the link above for "The Road" Blu-ray, a new browser window will open displaying "The Road" at Amazon.com I could then search for "The Book of Eli", place my pre-order for it, and HTF would be supported. (At least this is my understanding.)

Like Adam says, he's the guy who helped set-up the mechanism for the amazon links...so, we'll have to wait to hear from him.

That would be cool if it works that way.
