I've got to stop buying DVDs on release date. I bought Crash when it was first released, and still haven't watched it. Now I see it is $3.99 at CC, this week.

Heh, I'll probably snag a few of the $3.99 titles at Circuit City. I am finding it hard to resist "Good Burger" at that price...

That's a disposable price...just watch and toss. It beats rentals at the local Blockbuster at $4.29+tax.

Sounds like someone needs a Mondo Burger to brighten up their day!!! ;)

Most assuradly:

Borat
Fast Food Nation
The Loop - Season 1
Peter Pan
Revenge of the Nerds Collection
SNL: Steve Martin vol. 1
South Park: Season 9

Maybe someday:

Full Monty
Moonlighting Season 5
Foster's Home... Season 1

When it's $5.50:

Let's Go to Prison
Sabrina, the Teenage Witch

Just got back from a lunch time run to Best Buy.

They didn't have Hawaii Five-O or Private School.
I ran to Costco and they had Hawaii Five-O for $29.99 but no Private School.

I just ran to the local Best Buy - they didn't have the Nerds collection (just the individual). They said they didn't get any in.

I had the same experience at BB w/ RotN Collection. I didn't see it at CC either. Has anybody seen this anywhere at all?

Just to be clear, the new release this week is SNL: Best of Steve Martin Vol. 2. :)

And, I think it'll be awhile before Sabrina: S1 drops down to the $5.50 bin....but, hey, ya never know. :D

RotN is also not available for store pick-up at Circuit City and Best Buy.

Weird...

My Best Buy is selling Northern Exposure 6 for $39.99, which was also the advertised price. I wonder if this is an example of regional pricing.

Anyhow, Target got my money.

I'm pretty sure it's actually just a reissue of the 2000 original release. I don't recall seeing a volume 2 on the DVD, but I will check to keep up with the new coverart.

As for Sabrina - I'll take it for 6.

;)

Picked up "The Ernest Hemingway Film Collection" at my Costco here in Portland for only $31.49! Great deal. Unfortunately they didn't carry "The Literary Classics Collection.

It looks like the coupon may be good at stores other than just Target. People at DVDTalk are saying that it is a manufacturer's coupon and they have used it at Wal-Mart and BB, but cashiers have had to put it through manually because it doesn't work when scanned. So YMMV.

It does seem to wait for New releases, especially ones that have single disk and double disk editions, the single disk versions seem to discount rather quickly.

Does anyone know if the Beverly Hills Cop Collection is in Widescreen? I seem to remember another set released in 2002 that was, but this one is not apparent.

In addition to the Hemingway box for around $30, Costco had the following assortment of other Fox/MGM boxes for that same price (it was $29.89 at my Costco):

Mr. Moto Collection, Voume 2 (Fox)
Charlie Chan Collection, Volume 1 (Fox)
Charlie Chan Collection, Volume 2 (Fox)
Charlie Chan Chanthology (MGM)
Alice Faye Collection (Fox)
