The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Megan and I will most likely rent Good Night and Good Luck and A History of Violence this week, with a possible buy later on. Thanks again for the info Mike.

Yeah, I can see where for a lot of people this is going to be an off-week. Maybe some Good Night, History of Violence and Jeannie for some.

But there are a LOT of big releases right around the corner. Let's see. There's a great big monkey...a little chicken...a geisha...a lion, witch & wardrobe...and an SE of the 2005 Best Picture Oscar-winner--all in the next few weeks. Plus, a whole lot more.

But I'm getting ahead of myself...

If that is the 2-disc version of Jarhead on sale for $19.99 at both Circuit City and Best Buy I am really ticked I didn't wait!

I always wondered how there managed to be 3 pages of posts in this thread by the time I logged on around Noon on Sundays.

Now I know...all you misers are in here pinching pennies already at the crack of Midnight. :D

Not sure what I'll pick up this week. The 'South Park' sale at BB looks good. Also might jump at "History of Violence" as it has been recommended by a bunch of people.

I'm really disappointed that Target's not carrying the B&W version of I Dream Of Jeannie (I'll pick that up at Best Buy), but having never seen any colourized episodes, this may be a whimsical purchase to complement the B&W set. I'm just happy to have IDOJ on DVD. :emoji_thumbsup:

It doesn't surprise me that Target isn't carrying IDOJ in B&W...they didn't carry the B&W version of Bewitched either.

Columbo is a definite buy for me as it has one of my favoite episodes of the series (with Janet Leigh).

I'm ordering She Spies from Amazon - I love that show, especially the first season, which was really funny - and I don't care who knows it!

I'd like to see Good Night, and Good Luck. and A History of Violence, but not enough to make a blind buy at new release prices, especially considering all that's coming up in the next several weeks (next week alone's gonna be a killer...).

May drop by Best Buy today to see what they have for $4.99 per the "more in store" note -- sounds like it's the same Warner titles that Wal-Mart had at $4.88 a couple of weeks ago, but Best Buy usually has the widescreen versions when Wally World doesn't, plus it might give me a chance to grab that copy of Stagecoach I stupidly passed up at Wal-Mart. I'll probably also grab a CC circular and get a price match on Jersey Girl, one of only two Kevin Smith films I don't own yet.

It'll be later in the week, but certainly Babylon 5-LegendOTR, probably "Good Night...", possibly "History of Violence," and possibly "I Dream of Jeannie." But for the last, not at Target, since they seem not to want my money for the "correct" version for me.

Thank you as always, gentlemen!

Thanks for the Round-Up.

Warner has a couple of gems out this week that I'll be getting: Miss Marple Collection and Ten Little Indians.

Also, I'll probably pick up the legitimate version of Jeannie. Concession to my childhood crush on the still beautiful Miss Eden.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike and Patrick. Nothing for me this week, but with the NCAA Tournament starting later in the week, that is probably a good thing... :)
