Simpsons Season 5 is $39.99 at Best Buy here in Columbus and Dayton, OH. I wasn't able to make it out to buy it before Christmas so now it looks like I'll be getting it from DeepDiscountDVD.com for $31.14.

Thanks Patrick for filling in for Mike and your hard work every week. It's also good to hear from you Dave once again in this thread.

I wish you all the luck in the world, but one location might not have them all (or even most).

I pre-ordered the standard version without knowing there was a two disc as well.

Charging $10 more for extras is a rotten new trend.

I picked up Lost In Space season 1 for $32.99 at Best Buy as one of the titles in their Fox Season One DVD 50% off sale. This is pretty good deal if, like me, you never got around to purchasing it before.

Lost in Space Season 1 is $29.99 at Amazon with free shipping. If you can get someone to share the love, then it's $26.99.:) Amazon has some other really good Season 1 deals right now, including X-Files for $34.99($31.49 STL price).:)

I wonder if BB will have the bonus disc shrinkwrapped inside the one disc Anchorman because it doesn't seem right that the people who spend $10 more on the Gift Set wouldn't be able to get the bonus disc too. The last couple (Spider-Man 2 & Top Gun) were shrinkwrapped inside which would mean no way to sweet talk a CSR into giving it to you with the Gift Set. We'll see, I guess.

Best Buy will do whatever is guaranteed to piss off the maximum number of customers. That's their SOP.

Also, a reminder that all the "Lion King" titles from Disney go on moratorium the first week in January. So if you're wanting any of the three, and haven't bought them yet, now is the time.

My Fort Collins, CO Best Buy store had Spider-Man 2 (2 disc) for $14.99. I found that out when I went to do an even trade (already have the SuperBit) for their sale priced The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly SE. So much for an "even" trade! :frowning:

For those of you looking for Twilight Zone Season 1 Definitive Edition, you may want to try Coconuts.com since it is $69.99 there.

Also if you use the coupon FIRSTPURCHASE (for first time buyers only) you get an extra 10% off plus free budget shipping making the total a whopping $62.99!

I was just going to come here and post that. Except that the coupon isn't just for first-time customers because I've ordered from the site before and was able to use the coupon. :)

$67.xx after tax is a nice deal for that.

Will BB still allow the $10 off two or more season sets promotion if they grant the PM to Target? Or is it a YMMV, depending on the clerk?

I'd like to buy Season 6, Parts I and II. Circuit City is running a promotion where if you buy S6, PII and one other season set, they'll knock off $15 the total purchase.

If I can PM their S6, PI set to Target ($39.99 to $29.99), this would be a very good deal.

($29.99 x 2) - $15 = $44.98 + tax

Thanks for the "heads up" on the Twilight Zone deal at Coconuts! I placed my order earlier today. What a GREAT price. I was all set to pick this up B&M, but, for $62.99, I am happy to wait an extra 4-5 days!
