The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks Mike! I asked for the FG Trilogy for Christmas. I can't believe the trilogy is just $5 more than the new release! I'm interested in Salt, but will be picking up Easy A and the Matador.

I'm not sure what's up with The Matador, Adam.It seems to be a re-release of some sort. IIRC, The Matador had already been released.

It was released on DVD and HD DVD back in 2006, but this is the first time I think its been on Blu-ray. Its a great film. Pierce Brosnan is a hit man who has lost it and involves Greg Kinnear a regular guy who met him 6 months earlier on vacation in his last job. Pierce is fantastic in the role. The anti-Bond.

Nothing last week, nothing this week. Guess my promise to not buy anything before Christmas finally came true! Thanks for the great work, Mike. Have a great week, everyone, enjoy the holidays!

The Matador for sure. Pierce Brosnan's best work IMO. Great film.

I'll be picking up the Family Guy Star Wars episode. Since Futurama will probably go on sale before the second half of the season starts, I'll most likely wait on that.

I know it didn't have the best word of mouth or that good of an ending but I thought Devil was worth a rental. Easy A was alot of fun too.

Thanks for the prices!

When I was picking up a few last minute things this morning (like boxes...), I snagged Christmas Vacation and Terminator Salvation on BD from Target. WalMart had Iron Man Extremis DVD for $10 and Hoosiers BD for $8. Grabbed them too. I'm officially done spending money unless I find a fantastically super deal OR I realize I forgot to get something for someone. Thanks, as always, Mike.

Mike,

The Matador second photo appears to be Canadian. Maybe an Alliance release in Canada?

Amazon has both for 29.98 today when bought together if that's enough of a deal. That may be enough for me to get those 2.

I know it's last minute, but if you have a MovieStop near you - they are selling Easy A on Blu-ray for $15.99, if you pre-order. I hope to stop by there tonight.

The cover Mike posted for this week's release of The Matador is the same as the cover of my HD-DVD edition. Great movie! It's something of a comedy cousin to The Tailor of Panama. If $11 is a no-brainer price for you, then this one's definitely a no-brainer. :)
