Thanks Mike. I'm on double-not-so-secret probation from the HTF meets and a follow-up visit to Disneyland, not to mention Christmas is almost here. If I weren't I would have an Excellent time with Bill and Ted and pick up the now non-exclusive Walmart John Wayne Titles. I got Brave from the HTF meet trip to Disney and it looks great so that is off the list.

Going to buy Bill &Ted's Excellent Adventure and Lawrence of Arabia.
But I'm afraid Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is going to get in the way of watching these titles this week.

I ordered the Neil Patrick Harris version of Company the day it was up for pre-order back in August(!). Locked in at a terrific price, too!

And I also have Brave & the Pixar Short Film Collection 2 on the way to me.

Big week for me!

I had also already picked up The Big Trail at Wal-Mart a while back and ordered Lawrence of Arabia from amazon.co.uk.

I would also like to get the DW Griffith Abraham Lincoln some day. I've never seen it...but the price will need to come down. And I wish the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was a Region A release.

"Bill and Ted" along with" Lawrence of Arabia". This combo made me laugh. Interesting grouping

I've got them coming too (from Amazon). Brave is only $19.99 (with the $8 coupon) but Pixar Shorts is $27.86 as you posted. Did I miss a coupon on it at Amazon? Price is pretty outrageous & I doubt Amazon will lower it since it's not in any ads but it's even higher at BB & BB has tax on it too so looks like I'll be keeping the Amazon order.

Apparently you are not missing much. One of the reviews said it looked like a recycled DVD master.
A quick perusal of Amazon.co.uk showed an upcoming all-region release of Jesus Christ Superstar arena tour. I am tempted...

The only thing from this week which *may* end up in my collection at some point is the Turtles movies. That's it.

It's hard to believe Black Friday is starting to creep up on us!

Thanks, Mike. I've been waiting for Castle S4 to get below $20. I'll pick that one up from Target this week.

I got Twilight's Last Gleaming coming to me. Also, my Blu-ray, Hitchcock box set just shipped from Amazon uk.
So, i will have plenty to hold me over until Dec. 4th. That is the expensive day for me.

I'll be picking up Brave this week and I'll probably end up getting the Pixar Shorts disc too. At some point in the future, I'll get Empire Of The Sun and maybe The Postman Always Rings Twice.
Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike.

I'll have the review for Trilogy of Life up this evening. I'm slated to get several other Fox titles for review, but when or if they arrive is always up in the air.

Possible better news -- there are at least 3 reports that the BN sale will be extended a week and end the 26th. A poster at Criterion.com said he was told
and I was told out of the blue by a clerk when he was checking me out of the extension. This puts Heaven's gate into the instore sale with the extra 10% off
and possible coupons if there are any extra by then.

Thanks as always for the Roundup.. I am a big Pixar fan, but I was rather disappointed by Brave and will be passing on owning it, and won't get the shorts collection either, since I have most of those on other discs. As such, it's a pretty light week for me since there's only one new release I want, but it's been a long time coming, and that's the Sondheim COMPANY concert with the New York Philharmonic. This was done live in April 2011 and released as a limited theatrical run in June last year, and when I saw it the theater was packed full even though tickets were $18. The audience was really into it and it was honestly one of the most fun experiences I've ever had in a movie theater. I'm not sure what took so long for the Blu & DVD releases to get here, but I suspect that the delay will mean lower sales than they would have had if it was released soon after the theatrical run, since by now many of the casual moviegoers who may have gone after seeing it it advertised on the Tony Awards or something will have forgotten about it a year and a half later. Anyway, I'll be very glad to own it finally.
It's also worth noting that if you've been hanging onto coupons from inside ABC DVD releases this year, Target has made this a great week to use them. I'll be getting Grey's Anatomy 8 from them for $8.99 after the $10 coupon from inside my previous purchase of Once Upon a Time.
