The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Social Network for sure. And I'm gonna drop into Target in the AM to see what other Disney BD's are on sale. The ad says "selected others." Hopefully the "selected others" includes things like Wall-E and Bolt in addition to Bug's Life (which is on my list).

Happy Anniversary Mr. Mike. I shudder to think what would happen if YOU ever decided to go on a seven year vacation.

Well congratulations and a big THANK YOU for your 7 years of doing the WRU. Speaking not only as an owner, but as a consumer who has been reading it long before I was an owner I really appreciate the time and effort you have put into it and the money I have saved over the years.

Chuggington is the Disney Channels answer to Thomas the Tank engine. A CGI animated show for pre-schoolers about the adventures a group of trains have.

Trying to really cut back. My wife keeps wondering when we will get the Social Network. Can't say I am really interested, but I will pretend to be when we watch it . Maybe Piranha 3D, but I will have to see what Ron says about it first. Dances with Wolves will be an upgrade when the price comes down a bit.

Thanks for the good work for seven years, Mike. Remember Circuit City? How cute...

Nothing for me this week, I can wait for the inevitable Fincher extravaganza for The Social Network, this release was too quick to be all that we'll get, I would think. Thanks as always! (And not to be a jerk, but I believe that is Danny Aiello in that screenshot from Once Upon a Time in America, not Robert DeNiro)

I always look forward to the round-up every weekend. Thanks for all you do!

Social Network BD for me this week. Probably do a price match at Meijer or Walmart.

Thanks for all the work Mike!

So I feel kind like a schlub to mention that the photo for Once Upon A Time in America is of Danny Aiello, not Robert DeNiro. :)

Happy Anniversary, Mike, and thanks for all the hard work doing this over the years. I, too, make it a point to come here several times a week not only to see the deals but to get a handle on what other folks are buying or are interested in. It's one of my favorite ongoing features on this site.

Those Blu-Ray 2 packs/double features are cheaper on Best Buy's website all are $12.99. Either do an in-store p/u or YMMV have them price match their website. Had been holding out for a sale on Bloodsport/Timecop and at that price ordered Defiance/Enemy At The Gates.

OK, let's loosen up those pursestrings:

Target MAY have a number of exclusives released this week on Bluray -- some people have already been able to pick them up and it's unclear whether

they were meant to be released on 1/11 or even 1/18. These will be priced at $9.99 each ($10 for Fistful of Dollars don;t ask me why). I gave a list of the
Target stock numbers to one of the Assistant Managers and she sold them to me last night since they were already in the storeroom. Not all of them are

new, but I think it's the first time the westerns have been released as standalones. The releases look pretty barebones, but it nice to have the option

of buying Mag7 without the sequels and several of the others are just fun movies.

Magnificent 7 - 058320190
Cutting Edge - 058320195
Overboard - 058320197
Four Weddings and a Funeral - 058340206
Honeymoon in Vegas - 058340207
Fistful of Dollars: 058320189
For a Few Dollars More: 058320191

I think Dances with Wolves will be 19.99 at Target PLUS there is a $5 coupon available from Coupons.com in the entertainment subsection

Yep and post corrected. I think that was one of my very early DVD I bought and one of the few is those horrible disc scratching drawer/slide cases (Terminator and a couple others

also came in those atrocities).
