I took our Rotel RSX 1057 in for service the first of February and it was still within the 5 year warranty. The dealer has tried a new board and several other attempts to fix it, but when they were installing for the 3rd time, it began to smell and smoke so back it went to the service department. They did give us a loaner as it has been over 4 months. We have now received a message from our sales person to talk to us about purchasing the loaner. What is rotel's policy on repairs/replacement within the warranty period. I have the owner's manual but it does not address this. Thanks.
