Vr-6060 Surround Remix (1 Viewer)

i have a kenwood vr-6060,when you set it up,do you want the
surrond remix on or off and also my surrond does not seem to
be very active.what is the proper way to set the surrond.

My VR-6060 will be here on Tuesday, but I downloaded the manual from the Kenwood website to get familiar with it before it arrives. The manual states the following:

Surr:mix is when the SL(surround left) and SR(surround right) speaker signals are mixed to produce sound from the surround back speaker which would enable the listener to enjoy sound coming from the back.

Unless I am interpreting that wrong, it sounds like it would be for listening to sources that do not have a surround back channel. So it would really be a personal preference if you want to turn it on.
