This pair are in the most expensive veneer(Tiger stripe Maple)and have ALL the upgrades including VR7 woofer,EQ,crossver.The original retail on these was 9.5k and I am asking 5000.00 or a reasonable offer.I have the spikes,all boxes manual,and certification that these were Albert Von Schweikert's personal pair.The VR5s are no longer made in wood(unless specificaly ordered) they have the cloth cover,so these are rare.The sound is that of a speaker costing much more.I am upgrading to VR7s due to my much larger audio room.
