Video Card TV Out Question (1 Viewer)

Anyone using the TV Out from their video cards? I understand that the card must detect a cable connection to the S-video jack before the TV Out will be enabled. I would like to connect said TV Out to an input on my home theater receiver. Will this input provide the required load for the card to "detect" a TV?

It should be sufficient, but the couple of times I tried using a TV out to my receiver, the picture was scrambled. I was never able to make it work correctly. Your milage may vary.
