Hey all, a few days ago I got my first checking card. Currently I have no credit cards so the checking card is the closest thing to a credit card for me. I would like to order something from Amazon.com and found out that I could use my new checking card on there, my only fear is that I've heard of people getting penalized and having to pay a fee by using their card at certain stores, usually because they used their card as a debit card instead of credit. I can't find anything on Amazon that differenteates between the two ways of using this card so I assume that when you order through Amazon with a checking card it goes through as a credit card, therefore I would not possibly get penalized but I don't know for sure. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Will my checking card be used as a credit card if I order over at Amazon? thanks.
