Would love to have this on BD, but a flipper is a 'NO Sale' for me. Hopefully better sense will prevail at Universal and they will release this on standard BD some day.

I have always enjoyed this film. I have no issue with 'flippers' - and I have had no issues with the Bourne flippers, so I have no problem with this one.

Nice to see another round of "flipper" combo discs. I'll probably pick this one up.

^ Collect 'em all, they'll be rare soon enough.

Glad to see the "unauthorised" sales of this title on DVD will be curbed. People are clamoring for it, and I'd hate to see the market where they go for less than postage cost be harmed.

As long as I don't see the number of problems with these discs as there were with DVD-18s, I'm happy. I know people have come up with all kinds of, in my opinion, bizarre reasons to not buy flippers, the only thing that matters to me is that the discs work.

Having said that, I'd still rather see them go the Disney route and have an individual Blu-ray and DVD.

If this was Universal's "The Day of the Jackal" (1973) in hd, I would buy it.
