I am leaning for the Denon since it is newer, it was more expensive and it has DP II. Do you think I its a better receiver and thus deal or am I better of saving the $75 and getting the Yamaha. They both look in great condition.

Without a doubt I would choose the Denon receiver as it's 2-3 years newer, plus it gets very favorable reviews: http://www.audioreview.com/cat/ampli...6_2718crx.aspx

This model cost $400-$600 back in 2002, so I wouldn't pay more than $150 for her today (considering a new Denon AVR-1706 can be found for under $300).

Thats my problem. The Yamaha I can get for $125 but the Denon seller is firm at $200. I will probably buy it if he lets me pay $150 now and the other $50 next pay check. I know I can buy new stuff with $200 but is it gonna be on the same level as the 1802? Other than that, my other option was geting a Harman Kardon AVR140 since I can pay it in 3 smaller payments.
