projectors and ports are really difficult for beginners such as me ,
anyway i have a simple question , and i desperately need your help please
because i am running out of time in case i want to cancel the order

i ordered a projector LG PW800 "
picture of all the ports from the back

and i ordered LG DH6530t sound system it have a dvd player
this is the picture of all the ports from the back

iam planning to put a usb in the dvd player port
if i connected this dvd player to the projector via HDMI cable
and don't forget that hdmi transmit both audio and video
dose that going to disable the audio from the sound system speakers ??
and start transmitting the audio from the poor projector speakers instead ??
what i want is to have the video via the hdmi connected from the dvd to the projector
but to still at the same time have the audio from my sound system speakers

to explain it more .
the dvd player come with a home theater surround system
and i want the audio to be from those forever ,
the projector also have a speakers but they are very poor quality
and i'm scared that if i bought 10 meter hdmi cable and hook it between
the hdmi out " dvd player " , to the hdmi inpot " the projector "
that the audio from the dvd will be transmitted into the projector speakers
instead of being heard through the surrounding system
because hdmi send both audio and video
or will i have audio from both sound system speakers and projector speakers at the same time and i will need to mute the projector then ?

*I should say 'technically' it does work this way (both video and audio on HDMI), but in this case the HDMI is there for the video. Again, you are fine. Enjoy the new system.

Thank you so much David
your help and efforts means a lot , i do appreciate it
i was really confused about this ,
the odd thing the manager of the LG store told me yesterday " before i asked you "
you can't connect the projector to this sound system
i told him so why LG invented the whole system then ?
he said its for you to connect it to your pc or ipad
through this cable

887.jpg

it will go from the headphones jack from the back of the pc/tablet/phone
to the input audio ports on the back of the dvd

but i was insisted that it should work via hdmi with projector
so i don't need to try anything at their showroom ?? " unboxing there will be hard "
all what i need is 10 meter hdmi to hdmi cable between projector and the dvd

889.jpg

and i will be getting the video from projector
and the audio from surround sound system
probably what got me to confused is that the hdmi transmit audio too
and the projector have a built in speakers
so i thought the audio will be automatically disabled for the surround sound speakers
as soon as i connect the hdmi from the dvd to the projector .

since i am beginner
my throw destine for this projector needs to be about 290 cm away from the screen to get 100 inches screen ,
but what about the projector hight from the floor
see the figures , which one is the right one 1 ? , 2 ? , 3 ?

6665.jpg

those are the available mounts for the projector
http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/arama/projeksiyon-aski/
do i need the tallest one ? or just the short one ?

===

i am very sorry for talking a lot and asking a lot
i just don't have anybody with such experience
am just a beginner who's trying to learn and help others in this field in the future
thanks .
.

The projector you are looking at is really made for mobile presentations. Not the best for home theater. The LG guy is right - it is not made to work with the receiver. It will work, but not the best solution. For the price, you can do much better. Check out Projector Central for reviews and education.

Also, I don't know your budget or the reasons you are getting the LG HTiB, but again you can do MUCH better. All in one units are generally worse sounding and very limited (can't expand them - speakers are proprietary). Even with a small budget you can do better.

If you give us an idea of what you are trying to accomplish and your budget we can offer a few ideas.

unfortunately the order has arrived already
so i can't take it back , its a sound system with a dvd and the projector and the screen

about the question i posted you were right iam getting the sound from the surround system , but i was getting the audio also from the projector speakers
the solution was to turn the volum down to 0 for the projector

the reason i wanted lg pw800
it's only 800 lumine yes , but its 100.000.1 contrast which was good
plus , the lamp life is 30.000 hours
which is 4 hours everyday for 20 years
or 8 hours every day for +8 years
with a resolution of 1280 x 800 , as the default res for the movies i watch

the screen is 200 cm width x 200cm hight but since the aspect ratio is 16:9
iam getting 200cm width and about 125 cm hight only
even when i connect it to my pc iam not having any bigger image

how do you think the size of the video i am getting would be in inches ? about 90 inches ?
one thing i didn't like is when playing videos from the usb of the dvd
its only support 720x576 " 576p " video size
so the image isn't that great ,

what scares me about the projectors you told me about was the lamp life , on google they are saying its only 2000-2500 hours , and i was scared to not find a replacement

if we want to go technically on what you said
when you told me its made for mobile presentation
i won't be using it for presentation at all
its for a home theater " small one with about 2/3 peoples only "
so i made a wrong decision when i order it ?
screen + projector + projector holder + sound system + cables = 800 usd
there was a discount on the whole package
but after seeing your advice now you were right
looks like i was wrong on my first time " building a home theater "

one last thing , for my 30.000 hours " non replaceable led lamp "
should i increase the setting to the maximum , or stay on the medium or on the power saving " eco mode " since i don't want to lose the projector very soon
and as i mentioned before its my first time buying a projector .
thank you so much for giving me your time , i appreciate it
