All the Budd Beotticher/Randolph Scott westerns, like THE TALL T, RIDE LONESOME and COMMANCHE STATION. Beotticher died late last year and these releases would make for a truly fine tribute.

I also believe they still own THE BIG GUNDOWN, reguarly regarded as one of the finest Eurowesterns ever made. that would also be great.

Well, I'm not really sure which other titles are owned by Columbia, but I'm interested in several of those already mentioned. In particular:
Twentieth Century
You Can't Take it With You
Tess
In Cold Blood
&
The films of Satyajit Ray

I would also buy 84 Charing Cross Road in a heartbeat if it were released in its original aspect ratio.

I'll second the following titles:
The Awful Truth
Beat the Devil
The Bitter Tea of General Yen
Crossroads*
In Cold Blood
Living in Oblivion
A Matter of Life and Death
Men With Guns*
Mysterious Island
Repulsion*
Twentieth Century

I'd buy 'em all!
* These should be a priority! :)

A Matter of Life & Death would have made my list but I already own the region 2 DVD.
I also would like to second Living in Oblivion.

The one Columbia I want more than anything is Frank Perry's The Swimmer, which is rated among Burt Lancaster's best performances.
I would gladly donate my complete 16mm trailer reel, the press kit, and anything else I could dig up to this project for extras.

White Nights in an SE? That'd be real cool.

I'd really love to replace my old Pioneer Special Edition, that wasn't exactly that special.

It definately should be 5.1 and widescreen.

I will be made happy by getting this title in it's 1.85:1 OAR on DVD:
THE MATING HABITS OF THE EARTHBOUND HUMAN
It came out on VHS in November 1999 after a run through the independent theater circuit, and the director said in an interview that he'd be more than happy to do a DVD version with commentary & the deleted scene and that he's just waiting for the studio to make a move. Rental stats and VHS purchase stats will tell you that this one is a decent money maker, and it's a great movie that just missed the DVD surge and needs to be put out on it now.
Oh yes, and here are my 3 others which I'm sure will get released and I'm not as concerned with them, but I want them too so here they are:
The Karate Kid: SE (Widescreen)
Ghostbusters 2: SE
Stripes: SE

A lot of great titles have been mentioned here.

I'm especially interested in seeing Frank Capras remaining Columbia films released like YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU and some of their classic screwball comedies like TWENTIETH CENTURY and THE MORE THE MERRIER.Not to mention great fantasy films like CURSE OF THE DEMON and MYSTERIOUS ISLAND!

More votes for...
In Cold Blood (1967)
Shampoo (1975)
Tess (1979)
...And a vote for a new DVD box artist at Columbia for catalog titles, so we're not subjected to more butt-ugly covers like For Pete's Sake, Murder By Death, etc.! :)
