This is rather significant since Universal has been a big player so far with HD-DVD.

Finally. [IMG] While the review here states End of Days has a somewhat dull sound design. The source is the key here. But at least we know now that while Universal has been HUGE for HD-DVD with releases and it's new HD interactivity, they are now doing Dolby TrueHD.

Salivating thinking about the plethora of Universal titles....(should have been on Serenity though [IMG].)

This needs to become the standard for Universal.

    Good job! [IMG]

I just received this disc and noticed the TruHD 5.1. In addition, Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas also lists TruHD 5.1 on the back of the disc. I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't expect either! [IMG]

Are they 16 bit (downconvert) or 24 bit (studio master grade)?

Do any of the TrueHD titles have 24 bits? I have only 2 True HD titles, Training Day & The Perfect Storm and I don't believe these are 24 bits.

How do we know the studio didn't master at 16bit?
