Directors ULTIMATE COMEDY TOURNAMENT! (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone. You might be wondering, why Comedy? Well two reasons really. First off, whenever we see a "best-of" tourney such as Vickie's Mega-Tourney for example, we generally see the Comedy Classics get the shaft when paired against Classic Drama or Action. This will be the tourney that sees Comedy get its due. Secondly, when it comes to "genre" tourneys, they are already represented well (Justin's Horror Tourney), or the winners in some cases are just a bit obvious (anyone wanna bet against Raiders to win an Action Tourney?)

There will be 128 Tournament Slots. No wild cards.

Hello everyone! Just want to let everyone know that the ULTIMATE COMEDY TOURNAMENT will start tommorrow night between 8 and 10 PM EASTERN Time! And now, a quick look at some rules...

1. There will be two matches per bracket for the first three rounds, after which it will go to one match.

2. Bracket Times will be approximately 24 hours and 36 on weekends. However, there is NO official cutoff time. If you get your vote in 30 seconds before I post the next bracket, it WILL count.

3. The seeding process is TOP SECRET.

4. If you have not seen one or both films in a given matchup, please ABSTAIN. This is all-important.

5. Voting? You can vote on what you think is the better film, what you think is the funnier film, or just which film you'd rather watch. IT DOESN'T MATTER. Just go with your heart.

6. All registered members of The Home Theater Forum (HTF) are invited to participate. Don't be shy!

7. Discussion is definitely encouraged!
