Trouble getting sound through my lg tv (1 Viewer)

I have a LG 55lv5500 LED Smart TV and i have a PIONEER HTP-071 High Power AV RECIEVER WITH 5.1 SPEAKER SURROUND SYSTEM. I CANNOT GET ANY SOUND FROM MY TV. I HAVE SOUND COMING FROM THE TUNER OF THE AV RECIEVER BUT NO SOUND FROM THE TV, IM ALSO ABLE TO GET THE PICTURE FROM MY DISH NETWORK DVR BOX BUT NO SOUND.
MY HOOK-UP IS AS FOLLOWS
TV-----HDMI-------AV RECIEVER
DISH NETWORK--------HDMI-------AV RECIEVER
PS3---------HDMI-----AV RECIEVER
I WENT AND BROUGHT A DIGITAL OPTICAL CABLEAND HAD IT GOING FROM THE TV TO THE RECIEVER. STILL NO SOUND. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON. ANY HELP PLEASE..........

Well...I'm not familiar with Goldstar(LG) products...but...
Like most every other TV made...
There are two things you need to do...
Your TV in the audio menu has a setting for...
"TV internal speakers off/on"...set that off.
Now here is where it "either has it, use it" or it doesn't...
In that same section you might have a choice between fixed/variable audio out....choose fixed.
If that fixed/variable doesn't exist...once you've turned the internal speakers "off"...turn the volume up.

THE INTERNAL SPEAKERS ARE OFF AND I DONT HAVE A FIXED OR VARIABLE SOUND. BUT I NOW HAVE SOUND FOR MY PS3. I CANT CHECK MY DISH SINCE ITS RAINING AND MY DISH HAS NO SIGNAL, BUT AS SOON AS IT COMES BACK ON ILL LET YOU KNOW IF IT WORKED, THANKS...

Your "wait for signal of DISH" and "can't get sound from the TV" are totally separate problems...
Based on you saying your DISH receiver is HDMI into the receiver.
What does the TV "have" that needs to make it back to the receiver?

the only thing i have coming out of the tv is hdmi cord going into the hdmi
(out) port on the av reciever

What (source) needs to make it out of the TV?
OTA(that would be Over The Air)...
Web apps...
What (as in the source) needs to make it out of the TV?
