A few days ago I watched the 1952 film The Thief. Rita Gam is in the film and I was bowled over by her face; striking and unusual with, from certain angles, a touch of Ava Gardner. A face that deserves to be celebrated and remembered.

As I know Jeanette Nolan mainly from The Big Heat and Two Rode Together, I was surprised by this picture. I didn't realise she was so attractive when she was younger.
