Some alien make-ups are better than others when it comes to letting the beauty of the wearer shine through. The B5 Narn makeup (which also featured spotted chicks) was not one of the good ones.
Julie Caitlin Brown did not fare well as G'Kar's aide Na'Toth

Mira Furlan was quite fetching in both her series make-ups for the character of Delenn, but the original make-up for the pilot, created when the Minbari were intended to be an androgynous-looking race and Delenn a male Minbari, was less successful. (And attractive.)
