nope, no intention to buy this lousy release. got a good store where I can check online reviews truth before buying, when doubt is rising.

Ricky - He didn't take a swipe at you so maybe you should try and understand why it ticks us off.
We don't allow members to do it to each other and we don't take it either.

My question is why was a post made acting like a three year old release just came out this week or was "re-released" this week, was poorly done and had a bad transfer? I.E implying Universal is ripping off the customer by re-releasing movies and giving us the same transfer over again.

Tremors was a very early SE before most studios embraced anamorphic video for all releases. That being said, I don't think Universal has released a non anamorphic SE in the past couple of years. Video wise the DVD is by no means terrible. Having seen the LD, from memory I would say the DVD is a definite improvement. Soundwise there is not the much of a difference mainly due to the age of the film and the overall sound mix. For 25 bucks MSRP for Tremors or 35 for the two pack, this is a very good deal.

Ok, I'm going to get it back on the subject at hand.
Is anybody going to see Tremors 3??
Also, I do wish Tremors was 16x9. It would look nice on my 16x9 tv then :)

I'm VERY curious to see Tremors 3, but I think I will wait till I see a few reviews.
Curious b/c a few people are returning from the first one/ and going back to the same town.
It should be a hoot! :)
Matthew, as soon as you see it, I'll be curious for your review movie/sound and all :)

I haven't seen the Tremors LD or dvd but I know from other dvd vs LD that LD can be better than dvd both in picture and sound.
And that 80$ LD will be cheap now on ebay.
