Toshiba 42H82 an Xbox and Hi-Def (1 Viewer)

Hey everybody,

I got some questions for all you that own the Toshiba 42H82 set and an Xbox. Mainly about the resolutions supported on this set. I have been reading alot and I believe that this set converts 480i and 480p to 540p and 720p to 1080i. If I am wrong please explain it to me. If I am right how does this conversion affect 480p and 720p games. I hope to be purchasing this set come January. If I am totaly off base with this set let me know. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I bought the 57h82 set and take delivery on Thursday.
I'll hook up gamecube, xbox and ps2 to it.

It converts everything under 540p, to 540p. It converts 720p to 1080i (from what I've read).

Time will only tell how it looks (for me). I don't expect a really clear image like a directview, but I do expect a huge image that still leaves games playable.
