Help!

Upgrade time again. Any opinions on the either the Hitachi 65T500 or Toshiba 65HX83?

I currently have a Toshiba 65H80 (calibrated by Gregg), and want all the new features. I went in set to drop the money on the Toshiba, but ended up entranced by the Hitachi.

Using Monsters, Inc. as the source on both, and viewing side-by-side, the detail on the Hitachi blew away the Toshiba (and a Sony on the other side). I have never thought of buying Hitachi, but the specs are impressive. The manager is offering a screaming deal on either one.

Besides the Hitachi site, I can find no information on the 65T500. Anybody know of any reviews on either unit, or downsides of either? Thanks,

Patrick

hi patrick

the only "new" feature is dvi input

Hitachi has fixed their blue drop off problem on low IREs.

Consider doing a touch up on your Tosh and perhaps adding a duvetyne lining???
