There are a couple DVD's in my collection that I would repurchase in a hearbeat if they would give us a better transfer; The Last Emperor and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Any chance we will see this happen?

What titles do you have that are in need of a new transfer?

Excalibur: One of my favorite misframed movies!

Pan and scans that need widescreen...
Honeymoon in Vegas
The Man with Two Brains
The Jerk
Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid

Seriously, the current iteration of Forbidden Planet is practically unviewable due to the multitude of dirt and scratches from the source material. We need a LDI job on this title.

Also, the current transfer of The Sound of Music needs a lot of work as well.

What Brad said. Pan and scan only for a multiple Oscar-winning/gigantic hit like that is absurd. It needs a full-on SE, of course, but even just a bare-bones disc with a nice anamorphic transfer would be great.

Angels and Insects.

OK, it isn't a big movie, but the blurry transfer is absolutely the worst in my collection.

Here are a few I have that haven't been mentioned that I would like to see in at least OAR and remastered:

Batman ('89), Career Opportunities, Kindergarten Cop, Twins, Arthur, and Back to School.

Dunno if it's THAT bad, but it's close. Actually, The Apartment is one of the most bothersome titles on this list just because it's one of the few relatively recent releases on the list. Yeah, I know it's almost 3 years old, but most of the titles found here came out in the 90s, and most are non-anamorphic. Apartment came out after studios learned their lessons - I thought - and stands out as a particular dud because of that...

I vote for "The Sting" as well - I'd love to be able to have this classic in my collection...

I'll second the three Universal horror titles:
BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN
THE INVISIBLE MAN
DRACULA

Also, I will add Krakatoa, East of Java with its stereo soundtrack attached and from better elements.

Not to flog a dead horse, but MAD WORLD in a more complete form.

By the way, was the sound screwup on THE GREAT RACE ever fixed?
