The Roommate - quick review (1 Viewer)

"The Roommate" could have been a CW movie of the week, with so many CW actors and actresses in the mix, but Minka Kelly is nice to look at, though a bit bland on the acting side, and Leighton Meesters plays the psychotic roommate role with more restraint than necessary, and yes, it may as well been titled "Single White Female: The College Years". There are some mindless turns that add little to the overall film's theme, and some are just there to fulfill the tittilation quotient, though not any R-rated material shows up, so even that was just weak sauce poured on an already staid script and plot.


I give it 2 stars, or a grade of C.
