'The Revenant' Blu Ray disc problems... (1 Viewer)

I have a Sony BDP-S373 and it would not play this disc properly. It loaded up OK, but then 'stuttered' in both sound and vision once the film started. I skipped forward and it did the same there. Ejecting, shutting down, trying another disc (which worked perfectly) did not remedy the situation and I have given up!

I have found a few similar complaints about this disc on another forum and wondered if anyone here has experienced the same or has any advice? I've also contacted Sony.

This is the only disc that has ever caused this problem for me....

Sony have come back with suggestions that I have tried - switching the machine off, checking on firmware updates and doing a factory reset. Other than that, they say it is the disc....?

Am I unusual in only owning one Blu ray player? I'll have to try the disc in a friend's machine.....
