Still shaking my head about this one. Guess the show's creators have every right to charge what the market will bear, but something seems obscene about this. I thought shows on Broadway were supposedly suffering? Take a look at the Link Removed

The Producers is a very special case. Its audience never dwindled. It remained sold-out, even in the immediate aftermath of Sept. 11.
So much for the slowing economy.
One hit show can't undo the damage of a burst stock market bubble and the devastation of the downtown area. You have to look at other indicators -- like the 10,000 people who lined up at Madison Square Garden for yesterday's job fair.
