"Cash? That's a funny name for a play"
Also looking forward to this one!
Finally! With all of the other Mel Brooks movies out on blu-ray, this one curiously took its sweet time.
Edit: Just noticed Shout! is releasing this instead of MGM. MGM must really not care about the home video market if they're willing to hand over a Mel Brooks film to a 3rd party. I'll be keeping my eye's on Shout! now that it seems they're taking advantage of their MGM deal.
If you're familiar with Rhino Records from the 1970's and '80s, then you know the people at Shout! Factory...it was started by Rhino founder Richard Foos after he sold Rhino to Atlantic Records 25 years ago and it was folded into the Warner Music conglomerate...I've been buy Shout! Factory's stuff for CD's, DVD's and blu-rays for the past 8 years!!!
The Producers, is a must own for any film fan. I wonder if it will have any new features?
Any word on features?
As of today, I don't believe a press release has even
been issued. We discovered this title come up on
Amazon's site. I even took a look at Shout Factory's
website and could not locate any specific information.
In other words, we were treated to an early leak of its
eventual availability. I will post a press release as soon
as they send one out.
Nice news. Thanks.
The milk maid & the well hung stable boy!
Baby! Baby!... Why does he say this "baby"? The Führer has never said "baby". I did not write, "baby". What is it with this, "baby"?
this baby will be mine,
"Springtime for Hitler and Germany...Deutschland is happy and gay!!!:"
Shout just did a really nice compilation of Mel Brooks' TV appearances and short films, as well as compiling CD's of his comedy recordings, so this fits nicely with their comedy mission!Wonder what kind of new features will be on this Blu-Ray?
"Springtime for Hitler and Germany...Winter for Poland and France"
The artwork looks like Zero's trying to strangle Gene.
