While the entire series has been an emotional roller-coaster, the finale took the cake. For me an alternate title would be Waterworks.

to see the hell that they went through -- and then to

Tremendous mini-series. I'll be buying this on Blu-ray.
I thought it was a great series and can't wait for it to come out on BRD on November 2nd.

The end is an absolute tearjerker. As the roll the credits and tell what happened next, with photos of the real people, it's shocking how good the casting was, how much of a dead ringer many of the actors were. Great casting, great series.

And if you're someone that didn't shed a tear or two for the characters throughout the season, wow. What a punch to the gut at moments.

Just finished the series and I agree with mattCR. I cried throughout the final episode. The scene in the woods with Sledge and his dad on the dove hunt... wow. I think I broke down first, before the scene even unfolded.

I thought the second half of this series was REALLY strong. Ep9 was prob the best of the bunch.

As for the finale, what the cab driver, who was at Normandy, said to Leckie about not accepting his money really stuck with me. I cant imagine what they guys went through.

Sorry its gone, Ill miss watching it on sunday nights.
