Tonights ep was pretty good. How many cars is Dr. Troy going to go through? They showed him in a Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder on one ep, and this ep he drove what appeared to be a Lamborghini Diablo? It was hard to tell. The car kinda looked like a kit car they used as a double, since they obviously couldn't wreck a $200K car. What exactly did that girl do to it anyway? Looked like she beat it up and burned the door or something.

Feel sorry for the kid too. Finally gets his operation, and catches his girl cheating on him with another girl. This may disprove the theory that he is Troy's kid. Troy wouldn't have walked away from that, he would have joined in. :D

I missed part of the ending, did the large girl shoot herself in the end?

Yes she shot her self. I remember hearing a radio commercial for the show and they played an audio clip where the large girl said "I could cut off you face and put it next to all those pictures on that wall." (referring to the new psychiatrist) Or something close to that but I never heard it in the show. The show is coming along very strong, does anyone know how many episodes are in this season? I would prefer if they show this after the conclusion of The Shield: Season 3.

Maybe this is later in the season(or my imagination) but the earlier previews has Matt walking in on his girlfriend while she was going down on her friend, cause I thought she was on the floor when she was shocked by Matt's entrance. Maybe not. I felt bad for the kid though when he started to cry.

I really have no idea what that girl did to Troy's car, I was thinking she put some acid or something on it since the guy said the car was totaled, but it did look burnt also.

Was it determined that the chubby girl did to the damage to the car? It didn't seem conclusive that she was responsible for the damage.

OK, so your 17, first you have your dad's co-worker bring you to a strip bar and then purchase a lady of the evening for you and then you walk in on your g/f dressed in a cheerleaders outfit kissing another girl, also dressed in a cheerleaders outfit...what do you do, what do you do?

Then in next weeks episode he gets to go to a set of a porno movie, my god am I the only one going to explode here. :D

Great show!!!

Yes, it is a little bit over the top, isn't it?

I wanted to see what transpired after the airport cops grabbed that old bat. Ok, maybe not to see it, but to hear what she said/threatened them with.

I thought I remember hearing Christian say that her fingerprints were all over the car. But since they didn't want to go to the police I have no clue how they were able to match the prints. But I’m pretty sure that what I heard.

At first I thought he said the same thing Marque, but I think he actually said:

"Your prints are all over both of these Sean," referring to both problems (lady suing and large girl) being Sean's fault.

At least that's what I think.

"Fingerprints" was being used in a metaphorical sense.

It's a bizarre show in some respects. What doctors are willing to do to avoid a mal-practice lawsuit is almost comical.

Poor Matt, that boy is headed for a nervous breakdown.

I dig that new psychologist on staff.

Maybe it's me but last night episode was the so bad it pissed me off, I thought it was so preachy that I was offended that Nip/Tuck would try and tell me what's up.

I did like the scenes with the son though, who btw, can't catch a break it seems. Matt is learning something about himself and it seems Christian is too. I have to agree with the other posters here that think Matt is Christians kid.

I too was dissappointed by last nights episode. Its not that it was bad but I felt it was a missed oppurtunity. They spent a large portion of the episode dealing with the transgender character but never went in depth with the issue instead focusing just on discrimination against him. Since the doctor is so worried about psychological issues I thought it would have been more interesting to delve into whether this is more of a mental health issue and whether surgery just makes the problem worse. These surgeries I would assume are still very controversial and that issue would have lent itself to this show naturally.

On a positive note I enjoyed their new rival plastic surgeon and hope they use that character again in a future episode.

I like last night's ep, and the fact that the opposing surgeon isn't an ass towards Christian or Sean, like he could be, ie, how he admitted he wasn't as good a surgeon as Christian, but was a better salesman.

I thought they would make a bigger deal out of Matt's first time being with a fluffer for a porn, but they just laid on the std thing.

I didn't like how Sean and his wife are already headed back to where they were, now that she's in school and he was reading that research pamplet.

I also didn't like how Matt all of a sudden turned his back on Christian. I don't think that was realistic at all, even if the mom gave him (Matt) hell over it. Christian obviously didn't intend to be a bad influence, which he realized he was being, albeit to late.

I had a problem with that part too...... The only thing I can think of why they did it that way was because he changes at the end, you know by selling the car...

Over all I liked this episode. I think the show is great and will continue to watch it......

Anybody else see problems with the mom and dad. I think mom is going to go out with her study partner! Just a guess...teehee....

Though I am enjoying the show, the predictability of some scenarios is becoming obvious. I thought it was tacky that Sean's wife would bring another guy home from school without calling ahead in regards to studying. Which leads me to believe that there will be sexual tension between her and the student.

Its also exhausting listening to Sean and Christian complain to each other that neither one talks to the other one about business decisions. I think its been 3 straight episodes where a yelling match has broken out, but I would then assume with Christian's new found attitude towards actually running a business and not going for only the money and sex, should calm the relations between the two..maybe

Also the whole transgender situation thing bothered me. (so lightly i will step) I thought the psychologist should be in on any conversations when dealing with gender reassignment. Isn't that what she is hired to do? If they continue with that character there should be scenes depicting the counseling. Also along this line, (lightly again I step)IMO its predictable to see a character seem disturbed or taken back by somebodys choice in this lifestyle, then as the plot goes on, they then become sympathetic to the situation. The reason I have been watching shows like this and The Shield, Lucky, Six Feet Under is that each character has a strong belief in their way of thinking and being, and that they continue with their way of thinking even though there is a lot of outside influence to change.

Maybe its just way Nip/Tuck has been presented to us, but it seems there is a lot of change and turmoil so quickly and development of the characters has been rushed.

Also the addition of the other plastic surgeon was funny in a comic book character kind of way. Seemed like Lex Luther??

If anybody out there watches Nip/Tuck what happened in this episode? How did Sean and Julia handle Matts "operation"?[

I did a search on "Nip Tuck" and not "Nip/Tuck" so did't find this thread and started a new one. But now that its merged I got the answer to my question so disregard. But now I'm bummed about missing the third episode, it sounds like allot happened. Ill check when I get home, but does anyone know if the third episode will be rerun on FX soon???

Great show BTW, ill be glued to the set tomorrow. :D

So what did you all think of what the hot psychologist did to Christian, giving him a taste of his own medicine. Think she is just like him, or that she did that on purpose to prove a point?

Christian also seems very bitter at the world, referring to the rant after bedding the Sex Addicts girl. Wonder what made him like that, or if it's b/c he didn't get Julia possibly? Or maybe that he can't find the "one?"

Christian can really be an ass, but I really like his character.

Christian probably lost out on Julia when she chose Sean over him in college, and has been on a free-wheeling womanizing tilt all these years. Julia was probably the one that got away from Christian years ago. Notice that Santiago was reading up on how to handle adolescent-minded men before she gave Christian a dose of his own medicine, which is especially fitting after we have seen Christian take advantage of that SA sponsor and treat her with zero respect for his own gratification.

It was a pleasant surprise to see a few of TV refugees on this episode (Jessalyn Gilsig, formerly Lauren of "Boston Public" as the SA sponsor, and the guy from "John Doe" playing the guy about to get married, and the guy from "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" playing the British guy at the start of the episode, and the guy who played Reza on "24" who played Julia's study partner/admirer, Gabriella Carteris, formerly of Beverly Hills 90210, as the nose job addict).

I liked last episode and I agree Christian has some serious problems. His rant to the SA sponsor was completely somewhere else, it was very strange, not that he went off but what he was saying. It might of been him just pissed off and saying a bunch of stuff he doesn't mean, just to be a dick.

Also, it seems that he thinks about his life quite a bit that we just never see because he gets clarity pretty quick after someone gives him a lecture. I think he sees whats wrong but then tucks it away and goes about his business.

Christian's got a very dark side to him. It was either the SA sponsor or Santiago who alluded to his womanizing as sure sign of his problem with intimacy (as it may be for those with very little in terms of partners).

Christian chooses to alienate (like when he orchestrated the "chance" encounter of Julia catching him with the twins in bed a few episodes ago so as to push Julia back towards Sean) instead of truly confronting them with the issues at hand.
