It's fantastic news about The Nanny getting a release somewhere in this world! I was so sad to read it was not getting a release.
But now that it is coming out I can't wait to find out the special features it might have. Hopefully a few audio commentaries.
If it's not a release for Region 1, then what Region is this First Season DVD for?

Hopefully Japan (Region 2) or Hong Kong (Region 3), as those are NTSC, as the show was shot on NTSC tape.

But what is holding up the release in this country, its country of origin? Music rights?
