The Amazing Race 6 application is up! (1 Viewer)

Even though we have yet to see The Amazing Race 5, CBS has just posted the application for TAR6 on their website.

The deadline for apps is April 13, with the race scheduled to start in August.

Although there is the usual caveat that "the Producers reserve the right not to produce the Program, and CBS has no obligation to broadcast the Program", this is a very postive sign. If nothing else, I think it indicates that CBS feels that TAR5 will be enough of a success to justify starting the process for TAR6. They're not waiting for Emmy wins this time.

Am keeping my fingers crossed, just in case.

Thanks Kenneth, this is really good news. Maybe CBS is considering running TAR6 in the winter during the break between Survivor 9 and 10, or anywhere else during the regular televison season.

is it possible I have missed an entire season? I love this show, and am SO glad they are still going with more eps.

Yes - it was the only season I watched.
It was the season won by Reichen and Chip, the gay couple.
