Not certain why the preorders were pulled other than possibly the
fact that retailers jumped the gun on the announcement prior to 
Paramount putting out an official press release.
Aaah, now that I think about it, I know why the preorders were pulled....
I believe it is being re-released theatrically first.  So, that would
be a good reason not to tempt the public into waiting for a home
release.

There is a rumor that FOX HOME VIDEO(aka TCFHE) may bump up '007:SKYFALL's DVD and BLURAY release to FEBUARY 12TH.

Rumor no more... '007: SKYFALL' will release on February 12th,2013 on Bluray and dvd. The distributor will be SONY..

BTW here are the early Bluray cover art for the 2012 film 'FLIGHT'. No date has officially been announced and no pre-orders are currently up but it is expected for a MARCH 2013 release.

I found this today: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Release date: April 16th* * Im not sure if this is the NETFLIX date or if is a new date. I do know that it is the day before the French version of the film is released. I know that Netflix is usually 30 days AFTER the Bluray and DVD are release. If that's the case here.Then the MARCH 22nd date still stands as well as the date of MARCH 15th.
