I live in Jacksonville Florida and drive to Miami once a month. A store in Miami has the 6580n H.P. set I want for about a grand less with stand than H.P. has it on their site for the set alone. My fear is taking a trailer down there and buying this set only to get it home and finding somethig wrong with it. If I buy it there will I have to return it there or would H.P.'s warranty take care of it?

As long as the store is authorized to sell the HP TV, HP will provide in home service.

You should check with HP to make sure that store is authorized before you buy.
