When Naonka wept in the rain I wept with her.

When Naonka talked about quitting, I wanted to

hold her and say, "you hang in there, girl."

When Naonka told us that divorce at 27 was the hardest

thing she ever went through, I wanted to be there to console her.

I don't get it. Naonka should have gone home.
She would have done so willingly. To vote Tyrone

out because he ate more chicken than anyone else

is really shooting yourself in the foot.

And you know, I'm really not diggin' any of these

survivors. This really has to be the most forgettable

cast that I have seen in my short tenure. The show
is always good regardless, but this doesn't look to be

a season that will stand out in anyone's mind after it

is all over.

And as far as getting rid of the minorities is concerned,

I hope that's not true. Tyrone probably seemed intimidating

to the rest of the team which is why they turned against

him. Naonka is easier. She's visibly breaking down,
giving up, and the new tribe is going to soon realize that

she's trash. I would label anyone the same after who did
what she did to Kelly.

We really need a sarcasm smiley (or I've missed it).

The producers were totally teasing the Nay-haters with all of her woes in this episode.

Tyrone broke the cardinal Survivor rule, you don't eat more than your fair share in an overt display, unless you have an immunity idol to back you up.

I agree with Ron that this season's cast is pretty forgettable. At this point, I don't even really care who wins....just as long as it's not Nanookie.

For me, it's usually around the merge when I find myself rooting for someone. And it usually sneaks up on me. For example I might go into an episode not caring who wins the challenge but at some point I start rooting for a team, and eventually a certain individual. And right now the editing is focusing on only a handful of the cast.

Yve--an original member of the older team--has been all but invisible this season.

In fact, I bet some of you might be hard pressed to know who she is..without looking it up.

Marty is going to be gunning hard for Brenda. Pretty stupid to keep someone in the game who is still sitting on an idol on the re-vote. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I don't much like this cast this season either. Bad move on voting out KB, and too bad MILF got buggered too.

Once it was a revote, they HAD to vote him out to get the idol out of the equation. That was flat out stupid.

The other stupid thing is the "we have to eliminate her, because she could be good in the merge".. that is a risk. But the bigger risk, season after season, is continually losing until you get to the merge, to quickly find your team with fewer numbers and you quickly get wiped out.

I can only think of one time where that has changed.

I was very surprised they didn't vote out Marty in the revote. I thought he was who they were gunning for in the first place?

Greg,

I was also shocked that Marty still remains alive
in this game -- and now with the immunity idol to

back him up in the next Tribal Council.

But let's forget all that for just a moment, take a

deep breath and ponder just how much a moron

Fabio is.

This guy is immensely gullible and stupid. I have

only been watching this show for a few short years

but I am guessing that this guy takes the cake as

far as being the best at what he is.

...and did you see the sneak peak for next week?

I don't want to ruin anything if you didn't, but you

haven't seen the best of what this guy is capable

of. Fabio certainly marks his territory.

I agree that Brenda now has a target on her back

and I'm certainly not upset with that. I am beginning

to dislike Brenda as much as I do Naonka. So, either

one going home soon will make me very happy.

All in all, a great episode this week for the fact

that you had two tribal councils. There's also something

really great about watching starving people dig into

delectable piles of food. I so much enjoy watching

feast reward shows.

As always, good talking about this show with you guys.

No one was more surprised than me. I figured Jill's vote would be the only vote for Kelly B and that the rest would have been unanimous for Marty.

I'm still scratching my head about that one.

BTW...

My favorite line of the night came from Naonka
when Jeff Probst asked Fabio how he was liking

the kebobs.

"You would ask him"

Priceless!

I agree with everyone else, what's the point of splitting the vote in the first place if you don't ACTUALLY plan to get rid of the idol? They planned to split the vote so if he used the idol they could chose who went home. I understand that part. However, you don't actually have to vote for him to get rid of the idol, just have to make him think you are voting for him. I get that. They wanted the idol gone, but also used Kelly B as the back up in case it was used, I understand. Then he doesn't use it and they allow him to stay in the game, keep the idol, now he's pissed off, and you voted out someone that you could of easily voted off next week? Are they really that scared that Kelly B would be mad and turn the tribe upside down before the next challenge? More so than a guy with an idol?

Morons?

Seems that historically on Survivor whenever a tribe splits a vote at tribal things very rarely go as planned...

I am just as mystified as everyone as to why they bumped off Kelly when they could have gotten rid of Marty and flushed out the Idol. But...

I am equally mystified as to why Marty didn't play the Idol to begin with. Very, very strange play when it was made abundantly clear at Tribal Council that he was in the crosshairs.

Chalk it up to those wily editors who skipped the scene where the Brenda Alliance agreed to take out Kelly in the re-vote.

I wonder what their thinking was. Because if they spoke about who to vote for in a re vote, then they already discussed that Marty didn't play the idol resulting in the tie, soooooo. Maybe they will explain in reunion.
