Hey everyone, Im new to the forum, and this would be my first post. I'm a young guy whos been into audio for many many years. I started with car, went into pro sound and recording, and im not just a HT hobbyist with more than a passion for any and all things audio (video im impartial too, lol) Over the last few years i've built my 2.1 system into what it is now. Nothing out of this world yet, but a work in progress. A few months ago a replaced 3 out of 4 drivers in my Diva 6.1's. The dedicated mid, and both 8in woofers on account that the speakers have been getting a little tired over the last year. I decided at the same time to make a new enclosure for my subwoofer. The subwoofer is a SoundSplinter Rl-p15 15" driver powered by a Behringer EP-1500. I originally built a 9.5cu ft enclosure at 15Hz, then 7 @ 28Hz, then 5 @ 38Hz, and now im in a 3 cubic foot sealed. I built a small sealed knowing I would lose output and LFE, but would gain great sounding and tight bass. Sounded good for a while, but in the last two weeks or so I have found I needed to up and up and up my gain/bass/volume settings to get any sort of audible output. Before my gains were at 75%, subwoofer level at +2, and "bass" setting on receiver at +3. Now my gains are nearing 100%, subwoofer level hits +10, and i've upped the bass to +6. Im still not getting any where near the output I was just a few weeks ago. Any thoughts?
