My vote: Lawrence of Arabia

Lawrence of Arabia wins 16 - 2.

Round 1 - Bracket 4

A Clockwork Orange vs. Unforgiven

I can see I'm going to be on the losing side of every matchup in this tourney.

Unforgiven- I like Clockwork Orange a lot, but this is almost as easy a choice as the last one was.

tough but A Clockwork Orange

I figured you'd beat me Bill. I got the Newsweek question right but missed Time Magazine, the movie Kubrick had nothing to do with, and the actor not considered for EWS.

No, if I had more mainstream HTF taste this wouldn't happen. But then again, I'd rather be right than in the majority. :D :D

My vote: Unforgiven - Very tough.

Clint Eastwood takes it on the chin as A Clockwork Orange wins 10 - 5.

A double-header for the weekend:

Round 1 - Bracket 5

Paths of Glory vs. Rashomon

Round 1 - Bracket 6

Killer's Kiss vs. Rear Window

Kubrick Quote:

If you can talk brilliantly about a problem, it can create the consoling illusion that it has been mastered.
