    Blue Streak

Crafty jewel thief Miles Logan (Martin Lawrence) stole a $14 million diamond and found the perfect place to hide it. And then he got arrested. Two years later, Logan is released from jail and decides to recover the jewel, but finds that the construction site where he hid the diamond is now the new police headquarters for the LAPD. Posing as a detective from another division, Logan starts serving on the force. He is teamed up with naïve detective Carlson (Luke Wilson), and together they undertake numerous police investigations. It turns out Logan has a knack for police work and is promoted to Lead Detective of the Burglary Division. However, one can never escape their past, and Logan has to work hard to keep his real identity a secret from the LAPD and the diamond away from his former accomplice Deacon (Peter Green). But as detective Carlson begins to question Logan’s true identity, larger forces come into play and the entire operation is on shaky ground.

Blue Streak is directed by Les Mayfield (Code Name: The Cleaner); produced by Neal H. Moritz (I Am Legend); written by Michael Berry (Short Time), John Blumenthal (Short Time) and Stephen Carpenter (The Man). National Security

Earl Montgomery (Martin Lawrence) and Hank Rafferty (Steve Zahn) star in this action-packed comedy as two mismatched security guards who uncover a sophisticated smuggling operation. Earl Montgomery has tried his best to become a police officer, but he just can’t seem to make it onto the force. And troublemaker Hank Rafferty was kicked out of the police academy because of his rebellious attitude. Eventually, the two have to settle for jobs as security guards. But their dreams to join LAPD are closer than they imagine when they come across what appears to be a smuggling operation and a police cover-up operation. When Earl and Hank are granted permission to look into the case, they discover mysterious packages that at first seem to be beer kegs, but are actually an aerospace alloy worth millions of dollars. Now, they have to do whatever it takes to stay ahead of the crooked cops and bring down the whole operation.

National Security was directed by Dennis Dugan (You Don't Mess with the Zohan); produced by Bobby Newmyer (If Only), Scott Strauss (Training Day) and Jeff Silver (Mindhunters); co-produced by Andy Given (Basic) and written by Jay Scherick (Guess Who) and David Ronn (I Spy). The film stars Martin Lawrence (Bad Boys II), Steve Zahn (Daddy Day Care) Colm Feore (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), Eric Roberts (Pandemic), Bill Duke (Get Rich or Die Tryin'), Timothy Busfield (Terminal Error) and Joe Flaherty (Summerhood).

National Security was theatrically released in 2003 with a running time of 88 minutes and is rated PG-13 for violence, language and some sensuality.
