First Release To Include iTunes® Movie Download

Culver City, CA – November 10, 2008 – Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) has announced that the Pineapple Express two-disc Unrated DVD and Unrated Blu-ray Disc™ will include a free download of the film from iTunes.

The DVD and Blu-ray™ High-Def will arrive in stores on January 6, 2008 with an unlock code which customers can use to download a free additional copy of the film on iTunes or to download a Digital Copy of the film which is playable on PSP® or PCs with Windows Media Player.

“SPHE is thrilled to expand the value and convenience of our Digital Copy program to the iTunes community,” said Lexine Wong, Senior Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at SPHE. “Consumers can enjoy Pineapple Express where and how they like – whether with the full home entertainment experience of Blu-ray High Def or DVD or on the go with their laptop, PSP or iPod®.”

Some previous SPHE DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases have already included Digital Copy, playable on PC or PSP. Pineapple Express marks the first release from SPHE to include a download on iTunes and the studio plans to include these with select additional titles in the future.
