Anybody besides JL Audio make something like this:

    http://www.jlaudio.com/ECS/aicsw.html#

I'm either going to have to hack apart some RCA-to-RCA interconnects or buy something similar to JL's product. I'm afraid to ask how much but I did reply to the JL person who emailed me.. I can't find that product retail and they don't list MSRPs on their website [IMG]

some speaker wire, a pair of RCA jacks, and some solder (and an iron of course) will run ya about $6 from radio shack.

Yeah, I already have a soldering iron and some solder (sp?) but I'm just curious. I'm sure a retail item will look cleaner than what I can do. [IMG]

I did get a response from JL, they say it's $20.

Will the amp your using take a high input voltage???

You may need to use a LOC (Line output converter) to step-down the voltage so you will not damage your amp...

Monster makes a really nice one for $70. I know its a little pricey, but it is a much better sound. Its almost as good as having an aftermarket deck. I have acctually done a comparison and the monster one is better.

Hmm, I thought I answered this.. I guess not. Yes, the JLA takes both high level and low level input but only has RCA connectors. I know JL Audio sells an adaptor for $20. I figured my adaptor is temporary and no need to spend an awful lot of money for this. I paid $3 for one female to female RCA cable. [IMG]
