speaker calibration (1 Viewer)

Am I correct that this is not calibration? And am I correct that when doing calibration on our speaker using Radio Shack spl, we should not be adding db's to our readout?

I just got confused with calibration and the 2 links above.

Those are mostly for equalization.

I didn't add anything to mine to calibrate my speakers.

It makes a huge difference in some situations.

My center was -2db
My surrounds were -6db
My rears were -5db
My sub was +5db
