The part number you list corresponds to a 300 disc changer not a 400 disc changer.

correct you are, to my knowledge the M333ES is a 300 disc changer as is my M555ES that I have. I would be interested in a M333ES but not at 300.00. Tweeter had these on close out about 3 months ago for 200.00 + shipping brand new.

You guy's really should do your homework before you start spouting completely wrong info....really.

Sorry, the site I researched it on seems to have bad information. After further research the Mfg Part No: CDP-M333ES is a 400 disc changer and the cheapest I could find it online was $599.00 + shipping, so the $300.00 asking price here is less than 50% the lowest online price that I found.

The Mfg Part No: CDP-CX333ES is the 300 disc changer. The site I went to was listing the CDP-M333ES model number but giving the description of the CDP-CX333ES.

Looks like whoever picks this up will be getting a smoking deal.

i'm sorry i read to fast, I was incorrect the CDP-CX333ES which is last years, is on close out and is only a 300 disc changer, my model is the CDP-CX555ES which is also a 300 disc player.

I have the 300 disc Sony and it plays CDRs so I am sure that the 400 disc changer being newer would play them as well.
