Sony KDE50xbr950 Plasma (1 Viewer)

Just when I was ready to pull the trigger on the Sony KE50XBR900 Plasma i read a news release on the new model KDE50XBR950 whih will replace the KE900. Does anyone know the differences and when it will become available. Is it generally worthwhile to wait for the new model? I can get the old model at a $3000 discount but dont want to feel like its obsolete in a few months. Please advise. Thanks.

David, FYI, beware that the Sony plasmas are behind the technology curve, and generally regarded as inferior to and overpriced, compared to the superior Panasonic, Pioneer, and Fujitsu plasmas. Samsung/(Akai is the generic version carried at Sam's club/Costco) is supposed to be OK, but not as good as the above.

I have been researching plasmas seriously for a while - I would already have a Panasonic ED plasma if I wasn't so poor.
